Join us for a private screening of Ka Whawhai Tonu – Struggle Without End on Monday night at Hoyts Cinema in Centreplace, just a few minutes walk across the road from the Novotel Tainui Hotel.
This powerful film offers a unique perspective on the historic Ōrākau stand, telling the story from a Māori viewpoint for the first time. It provides a critical narrative that has traditionally been told only from the Pākehā or Crown perspective.
Ka Whawhai Tonu is an impactful film that delves deeply into a pivotal moment in Aotearoa’s history.
